The Taliban have declared another administration in Afghanistan.

The Taliban have declared another administration in Afghanistan

The Taliban have announced the formation of a new government in Afghanistan, led by Amrullah Saleh, vice president of the former Ashraf Ghani government. They have declared Afghanistan an Islamic republic, as opposed to the Taliban's Islamic Emirate.

According to the Afghan news agency Khaama Press, a statement issued by the Afghan embassy in Switzerland stated that the deported government led by Saleh was the only "legitimate" government in Afghanistan.

Former President Ghani fled the country after the fall of Kabul on August 15. At that time, Saleh went to the northern Panjshir valley and declared war on the Taliban in alliance with the Northern Alliance. He also announced that in the absence of a popularly elected president, he would be the acting president of Afghanistan. The Taliban then took control of Panjshir.

A statement from the Afghan embassy in Switzerland said, "Afghanistan will not be able to overthrow the legitimate government of the country even if it is under foreign occupation." Amrullah Saleh, the first vice president of the Gani government, will lead the government in this turbulent situation. All administrative, judicial and legal powers will remain in the hands of this government. The statement also directed that all embassies and consulates of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan be reopened.

Although there is no one else in the newly announced government besides Saleh, there is no mention of him in the statement. It has been announced that the new government, led by Ahmed Masood, supports anti-Taliban forces in the northern Panjshir Valley.

Leaving Afghanistan through a humiliating defeat

Leaving Afghanistan through a humiliating defeat

The United States has suffered a humiliating defeat in Afghanistan. As a result, Iran's army chief, Major General Mohammad Bakeri, has said that they are now being forced to withdraw troops from the country, despite their brutality. The Iranian army chief made the remarks on Sunday, two weeks after the abrupt withdrawal of US troops and the fall of the capital, Kabul, to the Taliban. -Parstude

Referring to the United States as a "criminal," General Bakery said the United States had deployed troops in the region, citing various excuses, including the 9/11 attacks. The reality is that America has not left the Middle East for the last 42 years, and as time goes on, they have created more conspiracies and threats against the region. The Iranian military chief also said that the United States was behind the tragedy in Afghanistan. The United States has occupied Afghanistan through many massacres, where they have carried out looting and various crimes. But in the end, they are leaving Afghanistan with a humiliating defeat.

Turkey can play a role in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.(Ababil Islamic News)

Turkey can play a role in the reconstruction of Afghanistan

Afghanistan is changing very fast. No one could have imagined that the Taliban would take control of Afghanistan so quickly. Within a few days, the whole of Kabul fell to the Taliban. Many people are now gathering at the airport hoping to leave Afghanistan. And millions of bodies are dreaming of leaving the Afghan country. Because if you stay in the country, you have to die or you have to stay under the strict rule of the Taliban. News from Daily Sabah.

The Taliban has asked all foreign troops to leave Afghanistan by August 31. So once the deadline is over, everyone is uncertain about what will happen after Monday. Although everyone left, Turkey wanted to stay in Afghanistan. But they have also been told to leave Afghanistan. That is why Turkish troops started leaving Afghanistan. Turkey thought it would have control of the Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport. But nothing happened as expected.

Turkey, of course, has good reason to think so. They thought some foreign troops would remain in Afghanistan and that Taliban control would be limited. Since the Taliban will control everything, what does it mean to take control of just one airport? It would also be a kind of occupation and Ankara never had such an agenda. Meanwhile, the Taliban has sought Ankara's help to help the Afghan people. Although it is a dangerous and risky path.

Turkey has a special place in the eyes of Afghanistan and the Afghan people. It is clear that everyone loves Turkey and they have never been seen as an occupying force. And this is the biggest advantage. And using this opportunity, Ankara wants to build a relationship with the new Afghan government, which is of course the Taliban.

Since we cannot change the reality in Afghanistan, our goal as responsible global citizens should be to keep Afghanistan as open to the world as possible. And that is only possible when the Taliban keep in touch with the world. Having a relationship with the Taliban can be a way to keep them connected and stand in the way of major human rights violations.

However, this does not mean that Turkey should not be in contact with the Taliban. Turkey and all other countries need to talk to them to keep Afghanistan open to the rest of the world. That is the thing that the Turkish government is doing. Ankara is taking a pragmatic approach to Afghanistan and adopting new realities. Foreign Minister Mevlt chavutoglu said Turkey would work in coordination with the international community on its position on the recognition of a new government in Afghanistan.

And at this critical juncture, Turkey can play an important, constructive and positive role and contribute to the reconstruction of Afghanistan.

Afghan allies stunned by New Zealand's 'betrayal' (Ababil Islamic News)

Afghan allies stunned by New Zealand's 'betrayal'

New Zealand has announced an end to the withdrawal of troops, civilians and allies from Afghanistan. However, the number of Afghan interpreters cooperating with them has increased. Trapped in Kabul, they panicked, saying it was a "complete betrayal" of the New Zealand government.

A New Zealand flight arrives in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with passengers from Kabul on Thursday night. All members of the country's army have left Afghanistan. No New Zealanders are currently stationed at Kabul airport. However, some people still remain in Kabul. They are in touch with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has said no more planes will be sent to Afghanistan.

The Guardian spoke to Ali, an Afghan interpreter who had been granted a resettlement visa in New Zealand for fear of retaliation by the Taliban for helping the Allies. He lives in Kabul and is in contact with a group of 36 other translators, interpreters and others who are helping the New Zealand forces in Afghanistan. He said none of them were removed. "This is shocking news," he said, referring to the New Zealand government's last mission to withdraw them. I can't believe it at all. No, I can’t believe it. ’He said,‘ What will happen to us? What will happen to the 36 people who get visas and work directly (for New Zealand)? My message is not to leave us behind. This is a complete betrayal. The government may look for other ways. "

On Friday morning, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced that New Zealand was closing more flights to Kabul thanks to the continued threat of terrorist attacks. The announcement came after massive casualties in a violent attack at Kabul airport on Thursday. "The Afghans who were abandoned in Kabul are alarmed," Ali said. They believe that the country is on the brink of civil war. Fear is growing, people are selling everything to get out of the country as soon as possible by any means. You can see fear and frustration in everyone's eyes. '

At a news conference with the defense forces on Friday, Ardern said the evacuation route was now closed following the attack. Ardern did not know how many New Zealand visa holders remained in Afghanistan and how many of those registered for safe travel was able to get out. ‘But I can say, we know for sure, we didn’t get everyone out,’ he said. He added, ‘New Zealand has not given up trying to bring visa holders into the country. It will be difficult and it will take a long time, but we will not let anyone come home. '

Ali, along with other Afghan workers and translators, made several requests to come to New Zealand in the months before the fall of Kabul. Those appeals were widely reported in the New Zealand media. The government has repeatedly rejected them. Immigration Minister Chris Fafoi told the group that the government did not want to "expand" aid to former allies.
