Some memorable events of 10th Muharram and the source of the infinite power of Islam

Some memorable events of 10th Muharram and the source of the infinite power of Islam

1363 years ago, on this day in 61 AH, the most tragic event or tragedy in the history of the world took place.

In Karbala, Iraq, about 100 companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) floated in a sea of death and blood and gave Islam the practical lessons of a culture of revolution and martyrdom that is billions of times more powerful than nuclear power. This revolution in Karbala has inspired all the great revolutions in the modern era, including the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

A group of devout Muslims, including Imam Husain (as) and all the male members of his family (except Imam Zainul Abidin (as)) who were staunch supporters and lovers of the Prophet's family, were brutally murdered for refusing to accept the cruel and wicked sinner Yazid as the caliph of the Muslim world. In Karbala.

Upon learning of the Imam's refusal to obey Yazid, Kufr sent letters and representatives to about one lakh citizens so that they could taste the true Islamic rule and be freed from the shackles of Yazid's stigmatized rule. So the Imam (AS) also left Makkah for the purpose of Kufr so that with their cooperation a mass movement could be formed against the monarchical dictatorship of Yazid. But in the face of various fears and temptations from the governor and administration of Yazid, the pro-imam people in Kufa failed to support the Imam's representative and the Imam's representative Muslim Ibn Akil was ruthlessly martyred.

In this situation, Imam Kufr became frustrated with the help of the people, but he continued his journey towards Kufr to fulfill his promise so that no one could accuse him of being cowardly, cowardly and compromising. Although he knew that he and his family and companions might be martyred in Kufa, he was ready to accept the highest sacrifice for the sake of reviving the dying Islam for the sake of Allah.

The Imam realized through foresight that the blood donation of the family of the Prophet would not be in vain and one day the people would wake up.

Before reaching Kufa, Yazid's forces surrounded the Imam at Karbala with his family and companions. They were told to choose either Yazid's obedience or death. But they fought valiantly and chose the path of martyrdom. The Imam was not ready for battle. And that's why he brought his family's children and women with him.

Even when the battle of Muharram was inevitable, Imam Yazid tried to convince the forces that they were going to start an unjust war against the innocent members and supporters of the Prophet's family. But the advice of the leaders and workers of Yazid forces, who were accustomed to greedy and haraam food, did not have any effect. However, Hor Ibn Yazid, an officer of the Yazidi army, realized his mistake and joined the Imam's camp along with some of his relatives and companions and was martyred in the end.

Omar Ibn Saad, the commander of Yazid's forces, was the first to shoot an arrow at the Imam. Almost all of the male companions who were ready to sacrifice their lives for the Imam fought like Mahabir against thirty thousand hypocritical soldiers and many hypocritical soldiers were sent to hell and martyred one by one. Hazrat Ali Akbar, the handsome young son of the Imam, about 18 years old (who was exactly like the Prophet in appearance and demeanor, even his voice was similar to the voice of the Prophet). Many old enemies were shocked to hear his call to prayer in Karbala Maidan. Rose) were martyred by sending many hypocrites to hell. Similarly, Hazrat Qasim (RA), the son of Imam Hasan (AS) was martyred. No one was able to fight them. When the enemies saw that every thirsty heroic army of Imam Shibir was able to kill many of their soldiers, they surrounded the heroic army and overpowered it by throwing many arrows or spears from a distance.

As the water of the Euphrates was forbidden to the Imam Shibir for several days, everyone in the Imam Shibir, including the family members of the Prophet, was thirsty. In the scorching heat, the condition of the children became deplorable.

In this situation, when the Imam asked the enemies for water for his infant Ali Asghar (RA), he shot the innocent child in the neck and martyred him. Hazrat Abul Fazl Abbas (RA), the true brother of the Imam, fought like a hero while fetching water for the children and lost both his hands. He was one of the commanders of the Imam's army and sent many enemies to hell. Some children of the Prophet's family also fought like heroes and were martyred. The family members of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were unique in outward and spiritual beauty. In other words, just as they were beautiful to look at, they also had the best character in their behavior.

After the martyrdom of his children, brothers, nephews and companions, Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), the son of Hazrat Ali (AS), the lion of Allah, entered the battle. (Although he knew before him that there was no one to respond to his call. Yet he said, "Is there anyone to help me? Or, will anyone respond to my call for help?" He said four times. He called on the Muslims to help him in the path of his ideals.) He alone sent about two thousand hypocritical soldiers to hell. More and more hypocrites were wounded by his wounds. But At one point he too became exhausted with extreme thirst. At that time he was surrounded by hypocritical soldiers. Stones and many poisonous arrows hit one of the leaders of the heavenly youth. An arrow was three-branched. Then a spear struck one of the men. As a result, the cavalry Imam (AS) lost his balance and fell to the ground. Then another narcissist, Shimar or Sinan, severed the Imam's head from Mubarak's body while he was alive. (May the curse of Allah be upon these people forever.) The Imam had at least three hundred and sixty blows with spears, arrows and swords. According to some accounts, the number of injuries is one thousand three hundred. That day was Friday and Imam was 58 years old.

The head of the Imam was pierced with the spear of Mubarak. Not only that, the corpses of the martyrs, including the body of the Imam, were trampled by horses and the holy corpses were trampled by the beasts. It is said that the closer the time of martyrdom approached, the brighter or brighter the face of the God-seeing and martyrdom-loving Imam became. He was martyred between the Zuhr and Asr prayers. Earlier, he had prayed with his companions in Salatul Khawf or Jamaat in the time of war or fear (short method).

Yazid's forces set fire to the tents of the Imam's camp and looted women's jewelry. They looted the Imam's belongings and camels. Even the burqas of the women of the Prophet's family were looted by the narcissists. They are taken barefoot in rows like prisoners to Kufa or Damascus.

According to a narration, after the martyrdom of the Imam, a Yazidi army of Kufr cried loudly. When he was rebuked, he said, "I am weeping because I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) standing." He looks at the earth once and at your war once. I am afraid he will curse the earth and you will be destroyed.

The Yazidi soldiers said the man was crazy. But some of them repented and said: By Allah, we have killed the leader of the youth of heaven for the child of Sumaiya. Then they rebelled against Ibn Ziyad.

After the martyrdom of the Imam, Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), was seen crying and was asked about the reason. He said, "I saw in a dream the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with his head and beard covered in dust." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about this, he said, "I have just witnessed the assassination of Hussein."

On the day of Ashura the sun turned black. They could be seen in the red sky during the day. Many feared that the Hour might begin. Fresh blood could be seen under any stone.

According to the Islamic narration, the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself miraculously collected the holy murder of Imam Husain (peace be upon him) and judged it in the court of Allah. The angels also cried on the day of Ashura. Allah the Almighty has comforted the angels that revenge will be taken for this murder.

All those who took part in the brutal massacre and barbarism against the Prophet's family in Karbala were severely punished in the world. Mahamati Mukhtar Sakafi (ra) executed most of the killers. On the other hand, the prophet-family-loving Muslims have been crying for Imam Husain (AS) and his great companions for ages and this mourning has become one of the main strengths of Islam. The heroic martyrs of Karbala are the eternal rulers of the heart-kingdom of Muslims. #Radio Tehran

A baseless statement: The virtue of fasting the first ten days of Muharram

A baseless statement: The virtue of fasting the first ten days of Muharram

The virtue of fasting for the first ten days of the month of Muharram has been mentioned in several pamphlets entitled The Virtues of the 12 Moon. In the language of a booklet-

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) further said that a person who fasts for the first ten days of Muharram will have the virtue of fasting during the day and worshiping at night for ten thousand years.

This is a baseless fabrication. It is also not found in the book on fake descriptions. A close description is found in the book on fake descriptions-

Whoever fasts for the first nine days of Muharram, Allah will make a tent for him in the air; Which will be one mile in length-width. It will have four doors.

Ibn al-Jawzi rah. After mentioning the above description said-

This is a fabricated narration in the name of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

(This narration contains Musa Attabil) Ibn Hibban rah. Said, Musa Attabil has narrated many false things in the source of Anas; It is not lawful to write or mention them except to express amazement over these (expressions of vanity and its). -Almaujuat, Ibn al-Jawzi, b. 2, p. 199

More notes: Allaalil mashnuah, b. 2, p. 108; Tanzihush Shariah, b. 2, p. 148; Taykiratul Maujuat, p. 116

In fact, the issue of fasting in the first decade of the month came in the case of the month of Zilhaj. In these pamphlets it has been attached to Muharram and great virtues have been added. Umm al-Muminin Hazrat Hafsa Ra about fasting in the first decade of Zilhaj. Narrated from, he said-

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never missed four deeds. The fast of Ashura, the fast of the first decade of Zilhaj (i.e. the first nine days), the fast of three days of each month, the two rak'ahs of Sunnah prayer before Fajr. -Sunan Nasai, Hadith 2415; Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith 6422; Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 26339

And the special virtue has been mentioned only in the case of fasting on the tenth day of Ashura or Muharram. Abu Qatada. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ، أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السّنَةَ الّتِي قَبْلَهُ

Regarding the fast of Ashura, I am hopeful that Allah will forgive the sins of the past one year (sagira) by it. -Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1162

It is to be noted that although there is no mention of fasting in the first decade of the month of Muharram, it is generally encouraged to fast in the month of Muharram. Abu Huraira. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

أَفْضَلُ الصِّيَامِ، بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ، شَهْرُ اللهِ الْمُحَرّمُ

The best fast after Ramadan is the fast of Muharram, the month of Allah. -Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1163

Ali Ra. Narrated from: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَيّ شَهْرٍ تَأْمُرُنِي أَنْ أَصُومَ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ؟

Messenger of God! In which month do you instruct me to fast after Ramadan? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) replied:

إِنْ كُنْتَ صَائِمًا بَعْدَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَصُم المُحَرّمَ، فَإِنّهُ شَهْرُ اللهِ، فِيهِ يَوْمٌ تَابَ فِيهِ عَلَى قَوْمٍ، وَيَتُوبُ فِيهِ عَلَى قَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ

If you want to fast in another month after Ramadan, then fast in Muharram. Because it is the month of Allah. There is a day in this month on which Allah has accepted the repentance of many. In the future too, more people will accept repentance on that day. -Jame Tirmizi, Hadith 851

Muharram and Ashura by the standards of Sharia

Muharram and Ashura by the standards of Sharia

The new Hijri year started in one year - 1443. Although the Hijri year is Arabic, this year is accepted as the year of Islam and the Muslim Ummah. All Muslims should know.

If no one keeps the news then everyone will be guilty. Because the Hijri year has a huge impact on the lives of Muslims. Its impact and importance in all areas of life is immense. The influence and importance of the Hijri year is immense, especially in determining the date, time and season of worship. Such as: Hajj, fasting, zakat, Eid etc.

                                                             Muharram and Ashura

Muharram is the first month of the Hijri or Islamic calendar. The word Muharram is Arabic, meaning: holy, revered. It is one of the four holiest months mentioned in the Qur'an. Allah the Almighty has said in the Holy Qur'an, "Surely there are 12 months in the reckoning of Allah from the day of creation of the heavens and the earth. Among them four months are honored. This is a well-established provision. So do not wrong yourselves in this. (Surah Tawba, verse 38)

It is narrated in the hadith that Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that one year is the sum of twelve months. Four of his months are highly respected. They are: Zilkad, Zilhaj and Muharram, the fourth is Rajab. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 2957)

The day of Ashura and its period - The tenth day of the month of Muharram is called Ashura. This month and the day of Ashura have been dignified and majestic since ancient times and are memorable and admirable.

It is good to know that there are two conditions for every act of worship to be acceptable to Allah. One. Worship for the sake of Allah. Two. Worship according to the Shari'ah brought by the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the ways and means described.

It is sunnat to observe the day of Ashura and this is the main period of this day. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) observed this fast himself. Encouraged to keep the Ummah. Therefore, the welfare of the Ummah lies in its full following and obedience.

It is narrated in Hadith No. 165 of Bukhari that Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Madinah, he saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura."

He asked: Why do you fast? They said: This is a good day. On that day God delivered the children of Israel from their enemies; So Moses used to fast on this day. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: We are better than you. Closer to home. As a result, he fasted on that day and instructed others to fast as well. '

In the early days of Islam, Ashura fasting was obligatory. If the fast of Ramadan is made obligatory in the second year of Hijri, then the fast of Ashura is considered optional. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) instructed us to fast on the day of Ashura. Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “The best fast after Ramadaan is the fast of Muharram, that is, Ashura. And the best prayer after Farz is the prayer of Tahajjud. ” (Sahih Muslim: 1/356)

Abu Qatada (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the virtues of the fast of Ashura, he said, "This fast erases the sins of the past year." (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1172)

The best method of fasting Ashura is to add a total of two fasts by adding the ninth day or the 11th day with the tenth day of Muharram. Because on this day the Jews observe a fast. Such a method has been described to keep the deeds of the Muslims different from theirs. Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always said to stay away from imitating the infidels.

Things to be excluded on the day of Ashura: On the day of Ashura, weeping, slapping on the chest, whipping on the back, bleeding oneself and holding mourning processions are not in accordance with the Shari'ah but are against Islam.

In a hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "We have nothing to do with those who slap their faces, tear their clothes and talk about the age of ignorance."

There is no hadith about arranging good food and wearing good clothes on the day of Ashura. If anyone thinks that it is the work of Shariah, it will be bidat or superstition.

Therefore, one should try to learn from this without mourning on the day of Ashura. Another thing to keep in mind: Ashura does not mean the event of Karbala; Many historical events have taken place on this day. The Karbala incident is one of those incidents.

Which contains many educational materials for all Muslims. Therefore, Hussein. It is the duty of every Muslim not to engage in any kind of un-Islamic activities based on its martyrdom and to stay away from all kinds of ignorant rituals.

In short, the things to do this month are fasting, repentance, forgiveness, and other good deeds. It is the sole duty of all Muslims to take care of these matters and to abide by all kinds of superstitions and abominable customs and practices in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah. May Allah grant us the grace to refrain from anti-Islamic acts and to act in accordance with the Shari'ah, Amen.
