Iran has launched a new dating app that allows men and women
in the Islamic Republic to get to know each other in order to get married. Its
goal is to make the marriage of married couples lasting. The divorce rate in
the country is increasing and the birth rate is also declining.

The name of this Islamic app is Hamdan, which means
"companion" in Persian. This app has been created at the initiative
of an organization called Islamic Propaganda Organization, which aims to promote
Islamic values.
It is claimed that the app will use artificial intelligence
technology to find the right partner for "unmarried men only interested in
a permanent marriage" and find a single wife.
